Magazines, journals and other similar publications both foreign and local are called "periodicals". These are published every week, every month, every two months, etc. Magazines or periodicals are important sources of a vast variety of information. They are usually indexed alphabetically by titles and are on closed shelves. Periodicals are for Room Use Only and may be taken out within the campus only.
